Age for the American Idol Auditions?

I'll be turning 15 on July 27th. My audition city is Houston, TX and
it will be on August 26. When I read the Audition Rules, it says that
I have to be 15 on June 26th. Since my audition time is after my
birthday, does that rule still apply to me?
