Schreiber aboard for 'Ray Donovan'
Liev Schreiber continues to be cast because the lead in Showtime's drama pilot "Ray Donovan." Show, from "Southland" creator Ann Biderman, centers of the professional "fixer" for that wealthy and famous in contemporary La. Because the go-to guy in Hollywood, Schreiber's title character deftly solves the highly private problems from the city's most intriguing personas but he can't quite escape the harm in the own troubled family. "Ray Donovan" has been created by Showtime, with Biderman, Mark Gordon and Bryan Zuriff set as professional producers. Production is anticipated to start early the coming year. The pay cabler, which lately reupped "Dexter" for 2 more seasons and it is getting excellent traction on new skein "Homeland," also offers aircraft pilots already purchased. "Masters of Sex," with Paul Bettany circling for that lead role, compares the work of sex scientists William Masters and Virginia Manley, and half-hour docuseries "Gurland on Gurland," which stars Andrew Gurland, starts shooting in a few days.
